Today is the first day of our winter carnival - dutifully I went to watch the snowmobile drags - pretty impressive to see snowmobiles running the full quarter with their skiis in the air.
But - the neatest thing was a guy on a Yamaha off road motorcycle who could almost beat every snowmobile present - he had knobby tires and was able to get a hole shot off the line while the sleds spun thier tracks spewing snow everywhere down to the ice but not making much forward progress.
Made me wish my Savage was here so I could have cruised through the snow ( they built a road) and joined the festivities!
Now that is keeping the rubber side down!
